Camden came across the book "I Will Always Write Back: How One Letter Changed Two Lives" by Martin Ganda (Author), & Caitlin Alifirenka (Author), It was one of his "Summer Reads" although a lot of the book stuck out to him. He found himself focusing on a part in the book that revolved around chicken and the lack of school essentials in Zimbabwe.
There was a part where Martin reported that having chicken with their meal in Zimbabwe was a treat that did not come often. Also, Martin reported that he had to write Caitlin letters on ice-cream wrappers that he found outside the market on the ground which was someone else's trash.
After learning the kids Camden's age in Zimbabwe didn't have backpacks, notebook paper or even chicken to eat whenever they wanted, he knew he wanted to help them anyway he could.
